Vlogger-fashion designer Chriselle Lim has just nabbed another major retail outlet for her namesake clothing brand.
The line, which launched last September and has just unveiled its second-ever collection for Spring 2019, has rolled out to Bloomingdale’s — including select stores nationwide as well as online. Previously, the Chriselle Lim Collection was sold exclusively online via Nordstrom and Shopbop.
The spring collection comprises 28 ready-to-wear pieces — including v-necks, camis, and buttoned dresses — in pastel and neutral tones, with light fabrics and flattering silhouettes, according to Lim. Sizes range from XS to XL, and prices range from $49 to $115.
Lim first delved into fashion design in collaboration with Los Angeles-based clothing brand J.O.A. last March, for a capsule collection that was available exclusively at Nordstrom. She then rolled out her eponymous label the following September. Lim, who operates the popular The Chriselle Factor lifestyle blog, counts 760,000 YouTube subscribers and 1.1 million Instagram followers, and also owns a branded content studio dubbed CINC Studios, which works with companies in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle spaces.
“The theme of my newest collection is ‘blooming’, so I wanted to design a collection that was soft and feminine. At the same time, I wanted it to feel empowering, so we added a few masculine touche,” Lim said in a statement. “The theme felt fitting given the spring timing of the launch, but also felt representative of the recent milestones in my life, especially now being a new mom to two young girls.”
