It’s a scene many dads and moms will locate all too acquainted.
Your toddler is sitting on the dinner desk perched on their high chair with their meal in front of them, but they’re refusing to devour it.
It’s undoubtedly irritating and can leave mums and dads feeling determined and, at their wits’ end, inclined to try something to get their bub to eat.
But might you attempt bashing one in every one of your child’s beloved smooth toys in front of them, scaring them into taking the meals?
That’s what some dads and moms are doing in a “disgusting” and “sincerely lousy” parenting fashion that has left the net in shock.
The horrifying approach has long gone viral after a 28-second clip was shared on Twitter with the caption: “When children don’t want to consume … that is what you gotta do.”
In the video, a man attempts to feed his younger baby. When the child refuses the spoonful of meals, the man grabs a Mickey Mouse toy close by and smacks it several times.
Then he grabs the spoon and tries to feed the toddler again, who accepts the food.
While the individual who posted the video — who says they are the child’s aunt — accompanied the publication with a laughing emoji and the hashtag “dead”, now not many others laughed along.
“Anyone who has studied psychology could know how disgusting this video is,” one individual wrote.
“Yeah, emotional abuse is so funny,” another added.
“This is terrible. Threat of violence and youngsters’s trauma is an actual component,” someone else fumed.
One said, ” There are so many methods to get your toddler to eat, and you chose a totally demanding way. Such true parenting!”
“Yeah, that is probably to train the kid. If he’s now not getting his way, violence receives results,” any other chipped in.
Other descriptions of the behavior in the footage included “annoying,” “really lousy,” and “ill.”Not absolutely everyone became outraged, although a few were protecting the bizarre parenting approach.
“He didn’t harm the baby in any respect,” one man or woman mentioned.
“Y’all are tender,” any other introduced.
Since the clip was shared last week, it has been viewed over sixteen million times, retweeted more than one hundred fifteen thousand times, and received more than 6,000 feedback.
The overwhelming horror caused the female who shared it to reply to the grievance, writing: “To all the hurt and sensitive people that see the video.”
She then introduced a meme showing singer Rihanna giving a sassy twirl to the camera that examines “Stay Mad”.
She later shared another video of the toddler in the original clip twirling for the camera. The caption read: “My nephew announcing ‘cheese’ to all your poor feedback at the video. He eats commonly and is loved by his circle of relatives. Mind your business and move on if you’re hurt.”
The terrifying method has induced an outraged dad to take to the platform to reveal a high-quality way to apply crammed toys to encourage kids to devour.

In the video, he uses his baby’s toy penguin to assist him in consuming and earning praise from different mothers and fathers.
