State Bank of India, or SBI, offers several facilities through its internet banking portal. Under this service, SBI customers can access their account balance information, facilitate a fund transfer, and apply for a new checkbook and debit card. Besides these facilities, the country’s largest lender allows Internet banking subscribers to set up fixed and recurring deposit accounts via Internet banking. Users can download the registration form from the SBI website; onlinesbi.com said the lender to register for online services.
After registration, the SBI bank branch provides the subscriber with a “Pre Printed Kit (PPF)” containing username and password details. These details are required to log into the portal for the first time after registration.
According to SBA’s website, after receiving the Internet banking username and password, the user must change them during the first session to access SBI’s Internet banking facilities.
If a user forgets their login username or password, they can reset it.
Here are the steps to reset the SBI Internet banking password:
Step 1: Click on “Forget Login Password” on the login screen
Step 2: The user will be redirected to another page where they must enter details such as username, account number, country, mobile number, and date of birth, followed by the captcha.
Step 3: After entering all the details, click on ‘Submit’
Step 4: The user will receive an OTP (one-time password) on the registered mobile number. Enter that and press submit. A new page will open where they can create a new password.
