Over-the-Rhine’s speedy-informal Indian-stimulated eatery Injoy Street Food announced that it has closed.
The restaurant began as a road cart, stoning up at locations and events throughout the metropolis, and opened a storefront at 1400 Republic St. in OTR approximately three years ago. With colorful, sparkling ingredients and made-from-scratch options, the restaurant supplied Indian-stimulated cuisine that catered to fitness-aware and vegan crowds at the cross.
“We have discontinued our operations!” the submission reads.
“Thank you for the wild journey and for making us feel proper at home in this unique and comfy little pocket of OTR. Although purposeful, we’ve concluded that our modern-day generation of Injoy at 1400 Republic St. Has an inherent cap on its capacity. We struggled with the fine route forward, and for now, that route leads us to suspended operations.”
The owners of Injoy Street Food thanked their customers for following along on their adventure, concluding their submission with: “The course changes, the dream keeps, our paths will pass once more.”
The statement follows some other latest closure at the equal block. Columbus, Ohio-primarily based, hand-rolled Bavarian pretzel shop Brezel closed its doors on June 23 — their choice became primarily based on the results of the city’s new parking legal guidelines.
