ASHEBORO — This is your opportunity to learn one of the most fun and easy instruments. Never four an instrument before? Easily learn the basics of playing the ukulele while learning to play some great music.
Students will learn songs and techniques for playing at home, school, or around the campfire.
This 13-week program will be held on Thursdays, April 4-June 27, from 4-5 p.m. Class is for ages eight and up; an adult must accompany children.

Wes Frank Norman
Wes Frank Norman is a professional musician and educator who specializes in various talents related to music and professional sound. He is the lead guitarist for the rock band Mightier Than Me and is part of the Entertainment Technology program at GTCC. Starting to play the guitar at age 14 became a huge part of his life, along with music in general. Wes teaches stringed instruments such as guitar (electric and acoustic), bass, and ukulele.
